The XL Time/Love Capsule

Ten years. Ten factors. One capsule.

The girlfriend described what made their relationship work, and the research produced ten objects, each one a distilled reference to a specific part of their shared life. A rock of hematite and crystal, chosen for what those materials carry: harmony, balance, protection against negative energy. A TV for the quiet hours after the kids go to bed. A guitar for the concerts and festivals. A Jack Daniel's bottle from their first date. A dinner table as the centrepiece of the house. A chocolate bar. A VW camper van for the road trips. A tree for nature, surfing, hiking. A heart for the wider family of relatives and friends. A house for their core, with two children and one on the way.

Existing objects, given new purpose, placed inside glass. A capsule is something you seal and carry forward. This one holds the present tense of a relationship still in motion.
