The Story of an Ode to the Silver Lining.

A philosopher, a teacher, a coach. Someone who changes the course of people's lives by showing them the light when their vision gets cloudy.

For this portrait I used the Head of Fowler, a phrenological bust that maps the areas of the brain responsible for behaviour, choice and feeling. It shows why we are the way we are. A silver line, painted freehand, marks the area of comparison: the specific capacity that makes her who she is.
