Parallel Perspectives

Portrait of a friendship.

I combined two memories that depict the friendship between two best friends and created a double exposure with them. Then, I utilized the Polaroid lift technique to detach the image from the polaroid paper. While this technique may seem intricate, it offers various perspectives on the memories. I arranged the lifted images on top of each other, forming a composite within a transparent frame. This gives the memories their own presence while safeguarding them.

Measurements: 10 x 20 x 6 cm’s
