'Portrait of a Lady and a Few Good Men’
At my first art school my drawing teacher said I was a drawing dyslexic. At my second art school another drawing teacher loved the way I drew. What can I say, I draw the way I write, when I put a pen or pencil to paper it starts living a life of its own and it moves in ways I can’t always predict. Then I came up with the idea to start drawing with different materials, like metal wire.
Fast forward to a little while ago when a friend of mine posted a picture of his wife, with a little love note. It was like a tribute and it inspired me to start “drawing again”. So I drew her with metal wire and put her on a piece of marble. Then I had to make more. The first few are now available below and other faces are joining soon!
